Back on the track the inability of the general public to drive on a circuit came to the fore when an accident stopped proceedings. We looked up to see a large amount of dust in the air at Quarry corner with ambulances and recovery vehicles leaving the pits, obviously a big one.   I never found out what exactly happened but the track was closed for some whilst everything was sorted out.  For once the weather was superb and the afternoon, when you have to pay to get on the track, saw us sitting around having a pint and enjoying the club camaraderie.
