August 6th 2006 - Duxford Air Museum
This trip to Duxford was made because of a small classic car show being held on the grounds, at the far end of the base, close to the American Hangar. There were quite a few different marques - The usual sevenesque-type cars, a huge turn out for the AC Cobra club and other makes such as the Honda Goldwings and the Jaguar XK owners club. Another blisteringly hot day, rounded off with Duxford running many of their tanks around the outside circuit.
As I've already photographed much of the Duxford exhibitions, this years' photo's took on amore arty feel to them. You might want ot play Guess the plane but, I couldn't tell you the answers.
