March 25th - Ace Cafe, London
This was the first official trip out for the Cambs area, this year. There were plenty of cars today - sixteen, in total. Westfields, Dax's, a Luego Viento and a Fury. Even though, the run along the North circular was slow, it was nice to look about as we pootled along. It must have been quite a sight to other road-users.
The Ace Cafe, as expected, was overrun by motorbikes. It was some sort of Kawasaki open day. I have to admit that I've never ridden a motorbike, and never been a passenger on one at more than 15 miles per hour. I was dying to ask for a pax ride from one of the bikers in the car-park (that name sounds soinappropriate, due to the lack of a single car in there.)
The journey home was quite sedate, too. Despite talking a scenic route, being stuck behind a 'Sunday' driver, unfortunately. Still, we all got home safe and sound.
