Bassingbourne Airfield September04

Bassingbourne (or Thrahingbourne) 17th September

Dick, Geoff and myself attended this open pit-lane airfield day (Dick and myself being the virgins)
We got in about five sessions each in this well organised (Motorsport Events) and well priced (£98) day
We all had a great day, even though Geoff had to borrow an additional silencer to get his noise down to the mandatory 100Db
The rain came with a vengeance in the early afternoon during which I stayed out for about 40 minutes having the time (if my life sliding about all over the place) and generally not being able to see where I was going…….

The “Tally” at the end of the day was as follows.

Dick, 1 spin.
Geoff, 1 spin
Chaz, 1 black flag (3rd lap first session) and spin (on the way home :-0)
